Automatic mode installation instructions: When connected to a rainwater tank, the device is able to fill the tank to its full capacity.  Any excess will automatically flow away via the specially designed overflow mechanism, back to the down pipe. Designed to fit down pipe size 100x50mm.
 
Step 1.
- Install the water tank ito position
- Then measure the position of the Rainwater Catchment Device's Additional outlet is at the top entry level of the water tank. Mark down the position on the down pipe.
Step 2.
- From the marked area of the down pipe, saw off 120mm.
- Loose the down pipe clips from the wall.
Step 3. Insert the Rainwater Catchment Device into the sawn off section of the down pipe
 
a. Insert the top section of the Rainwater Catchment Device into the upper part of the sawn off down pipe.
b. Move the Rainwater Catchment Device toward the wall.
c. Slowly slide the Rainwater Catchment Device into the lower sawn off part of the down pipe.
d. Fasten the loosen down pipe clips back to the wall.
 
Manual mode installation instructions: In this mode the user is able to collect or divert the water straight from the device onto their water can, bucket, fish pond, etc.  When not in use, it’s a simple of screwing Back the cap back onto the device’s outlet and the water will simple flow down the down pipe.
 
Step 1. Mark down position on the down pipe, the desired position of where you wish the Rainwater Catchment Device to be located.
Step 2.
- From the marked area of the down pipe, saw off 120mm.
- Loose the down pipe clips from the wall.
Step 3. Insert the Rainwater Catchment Device into the sawn off section of the down pipe
 
a. Insert the top section of the Rainwater Catchment Device into the upper part of the sawn off down pipe.
b. Move the Rainwater Catchment Device toward the wall.
c. Slowly slide the Rainwater Catchment Device into the lower sawn off part of the down pipe.
d. Fasten the loosen down pipe clips back to the wall.
 
Extra guidelines on the installation of the Rainwater Catchment Device.
1. We always recommend the use of a licence plummer in the installation of the Rainwater Catchment Device.
2. Place a filter on the top entry hole of the down pipe.
3. We recommend the placement of extra down pipe clips (not included), space approximately 10-15 cm below and above the sawn off section of the down pipe.
4. Ensure regular check ups of the down pipe entry hole, to avoid waste build up blocking the entry hole of the down pipe.
